What makes CEO Update different than other job resources?

CEO Update goes beyond the traditional job board with reported, not paid, job openings. Not dependent on classified advertising, jobs in CEO Update can be published without permission or fees from recruiters or organizations. With a wide network of executive recruiters, human resources executives, and high-level association professionals, CEO Update can provide information on searches not seen anywhere else.

CEO Update subscribers have the benefit of an energetic staff that actively seeks out vacancies. Retirements, new jobs, even firings prompt research and continuous revision. In addition, CEO Update does extensive investigation of trade publications, employment newsletters and on the web compiling all pertinent information in one place.

What types of jobs?

CEO Update lists all major types of senior-level positions found within associations and nonprofit organizations, including administration, communications and public relations, education, finance, government relations and membership. Focus is on the association/nonprofit executive, so highly technical positions, including those centered on technology service or requiring a very specialized background (e.g. a Ph.D. in a scientific field) are not included.

Where are they?

Association positions across the USA are listed in CEO Update. All major metropolitan areas are  represented, with Washington, D.C., Chicago and New York areas offering the most openings per issue. Between 20 to 30 percent of the CEO openings are located in the Washington, D.C. vicinity with the remaining 70 to 80 percent located in other parts of the country. Senior staff job listings tend to be more evenly divided, with about 50 to 60 percent around Washington and 40 to 50 percent in other areas.

CEO Update is the leading resource for news affecting all aspects of your career and for executive-level jobs in the association field.
